Part of the prestigious Inkaterra portfolio, this hotel enjoys a stunning location at the foot of mountainous cliffs in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Close to regional capital Urubamba, Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba is a contemporary-style ranch with a gorgeous setting. The property has pitched tiled roofs, terracotta-tiled flooring, ochre paintwork and wooden beams, enhancing the traditional ambience.

The 12 rooms in the Casa Hacienda and 24 stand-alone luxury casitas enjoy wonderful views of the valley. Interiors feature colonial-style furniture, living rooms with dining areas, spacious bathrooms, bedding with alpaca blankets, authentic Inca masks, chimneys and handcrafted woodwork. Suites and casitas add terraces with lovely views.

The hotel also has Mayu spa with herbs from the garden used in some of the massage treatments. They also have a hot tub & sauna (available at additional cost). The property has its own organic plantation farmed with traditional hand tools and oxen. The farm supplies the restaurant with produce such as quinoa, giant corn, medicinal herbs and potatoes. Relax on sofas in the spacious lounge or on the terraces, and the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

The hotel has an ideal location for exploring the Inca sites and markets of the Sacred Valley, including nearby Moray and Maras, and the Pisac ruins. The valley is also a haven for activities and adventure sports including trekking, horse-riding, mountain biking and rafting. Inkaterra Explorer Guides offer a range of excursions from bird watching and photography to learning about local medicinal plants and traditional food and drink.
