Via Via is friendly accommodation in a restored and refurbished colonial mansion on Ayacucho's main square with a popular restaurant.
This is an unusual property set right on the main square in historic Ayacucho. It consists of 20 guest rooms in a converted colonial mansion, along with a popular and innovative café/restaurant with views over the plaza, which can be lively in the evenings.
There’s a mildly New Agey feel to the place adorned with paintings, photographs and artefacts from all around the world, a restaurant menu serving fusion cuisine and Fair Trade products on sale. The cosy guest rooms themselves are set around an inner courtyard, typical of the buildings of this era.
The building has been renovated and redecorated to provide accommodation and although there is an ambiance recalling an illustrious past the rooms are fresh and modern. Complimentary Wifi, book exchange and tea station are also offered.
