This French-style Quinta Las Acacias hotel is situated on a hillside overlooking stunning Guanajuato, 20 minutes’ walk from the town centre. Some rooms and public areas are decorated in rather plush fashion, reminiscent of a European country house interior, and others take their cues from Mexican tradition. Shuttered windows look out over the surrounding mountains or the garden.
There is a plunge pool and an open-air Jacuzzi, a terrace ideal for relaxing in the sunshine, and a restaurant serving a mixture of Mexican and European fare.
