The Santa Cruz Lodge, located in the foothills of the Huascaran National Park, is a comfortable Eco-Lodge that acts as the ideal base from which to prepare for the scenic challenge of the popular Santa Cruz trek. Based 2,900 metres above sea level, it is perfectly positioned for those wanting to acclimatise for the hike, and its cosy campfire, restaurant serving ingredients mostly produced on site and snug bedrooms, mean it is also a good place to relax and recover afterwards. The lodge is actively involved in projects to improve the local community, with education and technology cornerstones of its attempts at having a positive social impact.
