Galápagos Safari Camp is an exquisite property which follows the example of Africa's luxury safari camps to offer true comfort under canvas.

The exquisite Galápagos Safari Camp, perfect for total relaxation, is based upon the model of Africa’s top-of-the-range safari camps, offering true comfort under canvas.

The main lodge, built from volcanic stone, sits astride a ridge with panoramic views of the straits and volcanoes of Isabela island beyond. The nine luxury tents occupy their own vast wooden platforms and each has a balcony, bedroom and separate bathroom. Inside, the décor is a marriage of understated contemporary style and the rustic ambience that lends the camp its sense of adventure.

There’s a small infinity pool, horses or mountain bikes for hire, and informative guided exploratory walks to be enjoyed within the grounds. Nearby, you can explore the island’s unique lava tunnels, the ceilings of which soar to the height of a Gothic cathedral. Giant tortoises roam wild in the surrounding scrub and grasslands.
