Hillside hotel with sweeping views across Trinidad and the surrounding landscape.

Las Cuevas sits on a hilltop, a 15-minute uphill walk from Trinidad town centre. Its 112 rooms are set on the hillside and many have panoramic views from a private balcony or terrace.

There is a large circular pool in the lush grounds, currency exchange, a bar, a basic but plentiful buffet restaurant, and a popular disco located in a cave! As with many hotels in Cuba, guests should have modest expectations of general standards and levels of service. There is no internet access.

Several excursions are available from the hotel, including visits to the Valle de los Ingenios and Topes de Collantes, as well as horse-riding and city tours.
