In a lively corner of Old Havana on the busy Parque Central, a late 19th-century building houses the well-run Hotel Telégrafo – Cuba’s oldest hotel. Its striking sky blue façade forms a distinctive part of the local architecture, while inside the décor is tasteful and contemporary.
The well-appointed rooms are stylishly furnished and comfortable. There’s a beautiful central courtyard, which has retained much of its original brickwork and arches together with a rather impressive mural. Other amenities include a bar, atmospheric pavement cafe and restaurant serving a good breakfast (not common in Cuba!).
