A colonial-style mansion in a beautiful rural location close to Turrialba.

Located in the heart of the fertile Turrialba Valley and a 20-minute drive south of Turrialba itself, Casa Turire is a colonial-style mansion surrounded by sugarcane, coffee and macadamia nut plantations, and enfolded by tranquil Lake Angostura.

A long driveway flanked by royal palms leads up to the hotel which has 16 rooms, each one elegantly furnished and with a balcony. The restaurant serves typical Costa Rican and international food with much of the produce grown on site, and the quaint English-style bar is a nice spot for an aperitif.

Facilities include an outdoor pool, Jacuzzi., and spa. Mountain biking, horse-riding, kayaking and birdwatching within the hotel grounds can be arranged locally and cost extra.
