Small boutique hotel offering replenishment to both body and soul, set beside a remote and completely undeveloped beach that's ideal for surfing.

The Harmony is a small, boutique-style hotel with a sustainable approach and a warm welcome to offer its guests, whose wellbeing and comfort are top of the friendly staff’s agenda.

It’s close to the isolated village of Nosara, beside Playa Guiones on the Nicoya Peninsula, where the crashing Pacific rollers are much loved by surfers. The beach is completely natural – no sun loungers or umbrellas here, but plenty of wildlife to be seen: monkeys and crabs scuttle along the sand and tropical birds populate the forested trails on the property.
The hotel can only be accessed by a dirt track, giving an instant feeling of remoteness. Children will love the fluidly shaped pool and extensive wild gardens full of hummingbirds, while honeymooners will appreciate the seclusion and the meticulous service.
Guestrooms and suites are very attractively decorated with calming white walls and furnishings in gleaming teak. Buildings feel integrated with the tropical surroundings while offering modern amenities.
The hotel is a great base for surfers, while kayaking, horse riding, ziplining and quad-biking are also offered for those who fancy getting active. For relaxation seekers there’s the Healing Centre, offering massage, skin treatments and yoga classes. The open-air restaurant makes use of local organic ingredients wherever possible, with an emphasis is on healthy eating: there’s a smoothie bar and sushi menu alongside flavoursome fusion dishes.
