With an exquisite design and dreamy setting amidst tropical forest on the lower flanks of a perfect volcano, Amor Arenal is much more than just another luxury lodge.

The wilderness feels close here, with natural spring pools in which to bathe, trails leading into the forest and privileged views of the volcanic cone above the treetops. You may spot a sloth as you wander the trails here.

Its Casitas are beautifully crafted so as not to detract from the overwhelmingly natural feel of the place: rich hardwood floors and frames are offset by exposed stone feature walls and floor to ceiling windows. Each has a wide terrace with its own plunge pool, and their elevated positions are designed to catch the breeze.

Dine inside or out as you wish at either of Amor Arenal’s two restaurants where there’s a focus on sustainable produce. Leisure facilities include a spa, and a gym where you can work out whilst enjoying panoramic views, while yoga and meditation platforms are discreetly immersed within the idyllic setting. Amor Arenal welcomes guests age 13 and over.
