A stylish and sophisticated hotel with one of Medellin’s best restaurants.

El Cielo is a boutique hotel in the affluent neighbourhood of El Poblado and is the creation of internationally renowned chef Juan Manuel Barrientos, whose restaurant of the same name graces the ground floor and is one of the best in Medellin, if not Colombia.

Rooms are modern and stylish with wood veneer walls, marble floors, king-size beds, and fine Egyptian cotton linens. Junior and Luxury Suites also have an in-room bathtub. The hotel’s verdant entrance with a towering five-storey vertical garden provides an air of tranquillity and there is a small roof-top pool and bar with sweeping views of the city’s skyline.

No stay would be complete without dinner at El Cielo Restaurant and their multi-stage tasting menu offers a highly original spin on centuries-old recipes.
