Friendly Casa de Helda is a converted 18th century house, superbly located in Cartagena’s colonial centre, just a few steps from Santo Toribio church.
Behind a modest colonial façade is an immaculate, large property centred around a shady central courtyard garden filled with flowers.
It has seven simple rooms with wood furnishings and high ceilings, set on two levels. Each is equipped with a fan and private bathroom. Rooms on the upper level are the most popular and also have TV.
The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but serves a good breakfast on the patio.
