Friendly modern, mid-range hotel on the banks of Rio Bení with well furnished rooms and a lovely pool. 

Hotel Maya is a 10min walk from the pretty main plaza in Rurrenabaque, an agreeable little port on the Rio Bení, tributary of the Amazon.  A modern hotel, it has a lovely situation on the river bank, with a well-kept garden featuring mango trees, hammocks, a small, well maintained pool with loungers and a shaded terrace with complimentary coffee machine.

The 20 rooms (mostly doubles and twins) are distributed over two floors, of a similar size (large) and décor. In 2015-16, they are all being refurnished with cable TV, minibar, air conditioning, ventilator fan. Towels for the pool are provided. Complimentary Wi-fi is available. Little English is spoken but the staff are friendly and helpful.
