The Albatros Hotel’s primary attribute is its central location on the waterfront in the centre of town. It is juts a couple of minutes’ walk from the cruise ship dock, so passengers who overnight here can just stroll down to their vessel at embarkation time. It is also a comfortable, if functional, place to stay with a striking, glass fronted façade promising views of the Beagle Channel from the bar and restaurant.

Décor is bright and cheerful, and there is a lively feel as the hotel is used for checking in cruise ship passengers. rooms are compact, simply decorated with TV and private bathroom, located on the side and back of the hotel with street views. Other facilities include a spa with sauna, steam room and hot tub.
